Tolando shrugged. He had no work to do and he figured he might as well spend his time absorbing the coffee shop culture. He liked having an opinion on bands and the music they played as well as a critique he could give. Also Russel was in tonight, if he got bored then he could persuade him to talk for a bit. Maybe he could be inspired to write some music. Who knew? "I live for music, man. Any cover charge or is it a free gig?"

"Naw man, it's a free thing. We wouldn't make our loyal customers pay. But they'll probably take tips. Like always, cheapie musicians." Russel blew a pfft towards the stage and popped a cookie into his mouth. Ronnie gave him a stern look, but from far away she could pretend like it didn't affect her.

Tolando chuckled and pat Russel on the shoulder,"You guys sure know how to keep me coming back here. I am gonna stick around if only to find out how much better they are then me. Ha ha" He took another gulp of his tea and looked to the stage,"Maybe they need a guitarist..." he remarked half-jokingly, "OH I don't think I told you. My old band broke up a few weeks ago. Dan left for vacation so Remmy said he was going to try and start a new project. It took off and they are doing well. Dan got mad and in retaliation he started his own band. He just found a second guitarist. I hate their new style of music so I left. Damn jerks, right before the spring talent show too."

Tianne watched as the buildings passed by. The rain wasn't exactly what she had hoped for, but she would deal. Maybe that meant a smaller crowd. Or the entire opposite. Whatever was going to happen she needed to make sure she kept her cool. There was no need for her to break out into a fight with an ex in front of a crowd of people and make a complete fool of herself.
The car turned right onto Bay Street. If she was right, it wasn't much longer until they would be there. She started drumming on her guitar case, trying to think of some songs they could play tonight. She wanted to go for an unplugged feeling tonight, even though she knew that he liked to rock hard every once in a while. She lost herself in humming when the taxi came to a stop.
"That'll be twenty bucks, miss," the guy said with a thick accent she couldn't identify. Tianne pulled out the cash and a fiver which she left him for tip. "Thanks," she said as she left the car and rushed to the coffee shop to avoid getting her or her guitar wet.
Just as she was about to reach for the handle, she hestitated. The last time she had been here was with him. Jerk. Just forget about that ass. He'll get what's coming to him anyways. You have to deal with someone else tonight.[/color] She pushed open the door to reveal a sparse crowd and a slightly ansty staff.
"I'm not sure if you remember me from last time, but I'm Tianne. Here for the band tonight..?" She added the last bit on the end as a in-some-way-I-hope-you-don't-remember note.

Ronnie looked up from her newly arranged stage and looked Tianne once over. "Oh." She said blandly. In the background, Russell gave a low wolf whistle, and started making gestures towards Toledo before Zack hit him in the back of the head. Then, turning slightly away from her, Ronnie gestured towards the playing area. "Feel free to set up. The other one should be here shortly. Thanks for coming."
Fredrick and Serena were indeed on the move. They had called up a friend who was in the ownership of a van, and Had piled everything in. Serena insisted, in her usual way, that everyone embrace the rain and get wet, but the two boys were not so keen on the idea.
They pulled up infront of the coffee shop and sent Serena inwards to figure out loading issues. She took her sweet time, however, dancing her way up the the front door.
