This thread's probably going to get a lot of use given the fact that Time Travel brings up some interesting questions. So when we invariably get trapped in a paradox, we can use this to sort it out.
First question, what exactly is it I have to give up to travel? An Item? A Limb? Any object from the period I'm leaving?
Also, I can't control Time Travel too much I get that, and yet I was allowed to make a character from any historical period. This facinates me as Rivalen could actually end up being trapped in the past for the majority of this RP. Am I reading this wrong?
Also, Also, Twin NPC's run the time travel which gives me SOME control, but what if I were to create a "Rival Time Traveller" a villain perhaps? Of course, that's a long way from now, but I wouldn't mind gauging that idea for later.

Well, what I think I'm going to do is end up having Ailya and whoever else is in the present time warp to you and say that she missed her calculations or something along those lines. So, if you wouldn't mind waiting for a few more posts, we'll come to you.
In answer to you other questions, I was hoping to keep the item you have to give up a bit of a secret, but I suppose I'll let it go. Its not always something that's tangible, like an object. It could be something personally attached to the giver's body or mind, like a memory. It really depends on what mood the twins are in. I'll probably control them first time around so every gets the idea of what I mean. Plus, I still haven't had time to update their NPC profile in full.
The rival idea is interesting.. but I think I'm going to have to sit on that thought for a little while longer. It would be a bit complicated to fit into the current mix that I have on going right now, but maybe someone from another dimension or something? Like I said, I'll think on it.
Hope that answers your questions.

Attention friends and aquaintences. I can't help but notice the overwhelming lack of support for Time In Between. I have been waiting to Travel the TimeScape (tm) for a good long time now and with absolutely nothing to show for it. What I don't understand is how you can't be interested.
Let me explain the concept to you again. Time. Travel. If we analyze it we see that it is made up of travel, as in changing location, and time, as in that 4th dimensional concept we are painfully aware of but cannot alter in anyway in the real world. That means time travel is changing location relative to a timeline, or more accurately
BENDING THE UNIVERSE TO YOUR WILL OPENING UNLIMITED POSSIBILITIES!
Want to ride a T-Rex through an army of charging knights? You can do that.
Want to smash an advanced alien spacecraft into the 1933 Olympics? You can do that.
Want to accidently step into the puddle of protoplasm that would one day be mankind? Yes it's a massive paradox that gives me a headache just thinking about it, but you can do it damnit!
So smarten up, and get on the board people!
